Health and Physical Education

Admission into the Education Department and additional education departmental coursework is required. This major is designed to prepare students for the teaching profession in Health and Physical Education. With the addition of approximately 37 hours of education requirements, the student will be eligible for a Nebraska Teaching Certificate.

Classroom and Behavior Management Certificate

The Classroom and Behavior Management Certificate program is designed for educators, administrators, and individuals passionate about fostering a positive and productive learning environment. The latest research and evidence-based practices in classroom and behavior management are explored, equipping educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to create an inclusive, safe, and effective educational space for all learners.

Master of Special Education

The Master’s of Special Education with a Behavior Intervention Specialist Concentration has been designed to extend the expertise of educators who currently hold a teaching certificate with one or more special education endorsement(s) or who wish to earn a supplemental Behavior Intervention Specialist endorsement on a regular teaching certificate.
