This program is designed for a person with a bachelor's degree who is interested in earning an initial Nebraska teaching certificate to teach at the elementary level. This program is accredited/approved by state, regional and national accrediting agencies, including the National Council for Accreditation of Education Preparation Programs (CAEP), the Nebraska Department of Education, and the Department of Education at Creighton University. The endorsement certifies recipients to teach grades K-6 in public schools, grades K-8 in parochial schools.

Standard institutions of higher education will not be able to recommend this endorsement for placement on a certificate after August 1, 2020.
