Educational Studies Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

Our Ph.D. program is invested in preparing researchers and educational leaders to serve and work in a variety of professional positions, including universities, private industry, non-profit organizations, research agencies, policy agencies, and school systems. We view Ph.D. students as essential partners in developing new knowledge and preparing the next generation of educators and scholars.

Educational Studies Doctor of Education (Ed.D.)

This program is designed for working educators (with a completed Master’s degree). The Ed.D. is completed in as few as three years (with the average being 4 years). The program supports ten to twenty highly motivated educators who come from a variety of backgrounds, including pre-K–12 schooling, teacher education, professional development positions, higher education, teacher-leadership, and advocacy roles, and community education programs.
