The purpose of the Home Visitor Diploma is to prepare graduates to work with families and young children (prenatal to age 5) in the home setting in order to enhance parents’ knowledge of child development and assist them in increasing effective parenting skills.
This certificate will qualify individuals to work as a Title I, SPED, or Early Childhood para in Nebraska school districts meeting specific assessment/mastery requirements for the state.
This certificate in early childhood education provides students with the coursework needed for Child Development Associate professional education hours in the “Infant and Toddler” area. Students are prepared to assist in an infant/toddler setting.
Note: Only one Early Childhood Education Certificate may be earned by any student
This certificate in early childhood education provides students with the coursework needed for Child Development Associate professional education hours in the “Preschool” area. Students are prepared to assist in a classroom setting with children preschool to grade 3.

Our Early Childhood Education program will help you develop and refine your teaching skills and learn new techniques through practicum experience while working under the supervision of a teacher in a child care facility or early childhood program.
