Higher Education/Community Colleges

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Master of Arts (M.A.) in educational administration offers students the opportunity to grow their leadership and administrative skills through a rigorous, entirely online degree.

Early Childhood and Family Policy

Students in this program will:

  1. Evaluate equity and effectiveness of early childhood and family policy using theory and a variety of tools.
  2. Propose and advocate for equitable and effective early childhood and family policy.
  3. Communicate with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g., policymakers, researchers, educators, and advocates) using varied formats (e.g., multimedia presentations, written reports, and oral presentations).

Catholic School Leadership (Graduate Certificate)

f you’re a current or aspiring Catholic school leader, Creighton University’s graduate certificate in Catholic School Leadership is for you.

You’ll learn about the various dimensions of school leadership and how to apply your skills in an authentic Catholic school setting. You’ll also learn how to lead a school faith community and build a positive Catholic culture, plan strategically to increase funding and enrollment and advocate for Catholic students and their families

Magis Catholic Teacher Corps

The Magis program seeks to develop a core of highly motivated teachers to work in under-served Catholic Schools. Upon acceptance, Magis teachers make a commitment for two years to live in community and pursue professional and spiritual development while serving as full-time teachers in selected Catholic schools. Through this method, students develop tools to establish the environments in which young people want to learn, and thus, make a significant impact in the lives of children and the communities in which they teach.

Secondary School Teaching

If you’re looking to change lives and take on a new professional role in education, Creighton University’s Master of Education in Secondary School Teaching can help you reach your goals. This program is designed for those who already have a degree in an endorsable content area and are interested in starting a career in teaching, or for those who are already teaching but need to earn their teaching certificate.

M.S. in Educational Leadership

The Master of Science (M.S.) in Educational Leadership degree is a fully-online graduate program. Candidates attain professional certification in administration and gain knowledge and skills in school leadership. This program is designed for the educator who holds a teaching certificate from area states and wishes to complete the requirements for a principal or special education supervisor certificate.
