Endorsement Type: Supplemental endorsement only. This endorsement cannot exist by itself on a certificate, but is added to a certificate only in the presence of other endorsements which may have been acquired earlier or concurrently.
Persons with this endorsement may assist in or facilitate the development of technology programs for students in prekindergarten through grade 12.
Certification Endorsement Requirements: This endorsement requires a minimum of 15 semester hours which includes the following:
- The study of school and district level technology integration into curriculum areas for instructional improvement; and
- The study of research and best practices of technology integration to address school improvement efforts; and
- The study of education leadership for collecting, analyzing, reporting, and using data for instructional improvement.
Endorsement Program Requirements: Standard institutions of higher education offering this endorsement must have on file, within the institution, a plan which identifies the courses and the course completion requirements which the institution utilizes to grant credit toward completion of this endorsement.
